Baku (バク, Baku) is a purple boy tapir character from the Japanese company Sanrio. He has purple fur with lighter purple mid-section, floppy ears, and hollow white eyes. He is Kuromi's patient sidekick who flies around sniffing out dreams. Baku can also find the person having the dream. He doesn't let things like Kuromi's teasing get the best of him. Like My Melody's doppelganger rival, Baku made his first appearance in 2005 from Onegal My Melody.
