Koni (コオニ Kōni) is a pink alien baby character created by the Japanese company Sanrio. He first appeared in the 2023 web-series Kuromi's Pretty Journey where he met Kuromi in a dating show in Seoul whilst looking for his parents, whom later make major appearances in the second season. His drawings can depict future events.
Appearance
Koni is a small pink-colored alien baby who wears black diapers. Atop his head, he has two circular blue antennae and a yellow triangle sticking out at the center.
True Identity
Koni's true identity is Nico. He is a human with pink hair and a long white coat. On top of his head are two triangle-shaped tufts sticking out from his hair.

Trivia
- Like with another baby character, Milk (from Cinnamoroll), Koni and his parents can only say one word in his alien language when in their normal identity, that word being "Oni."
- Koni/Nico is Kuromi's love interest and human partner in Kuromi's Pretty Journey's second season, after Kuromi paired with Keiichi Hiiragi in Onegai My Melody.
- This, alongside Koni trying to find his parents is foreshadowed back in season 1 where Koni is matched with Kuromi in the dating show.
