A summary of the various appearances of Ruby in video games.

Jewelpet Magical DS Kirapikarin☆

Ruby is one of the 16 playable Jewelpets in the game, as well as one of the three that can be played from the start and does not need to be unlocked. She is the protagonist Jewelpet of the game's story. After practicing magic learning with Garnet, Ruby helps out Rinko and her friends stop Diana's dark magic, which is creating purple smoke that is causing problems in Takaragaseki City.

Gameplay wise, Ruby plays the same as the other playable Jewelpets, with the only notable difference being her Jewel Flash, which has a heart theme to it and a unique falling animation after clearing a stage.

Ruby also has two instruments using her voice like the other playable Jewelpets, made by using the heart pattern in the Jewel Pocketbook with the following recipe: a purple gem on the top middle, purple on the top right, a red gem on the bottom and an orange gem on the top left. The first instrument is a voiceline of her saying "ひゃっほー！", the instrument is described as one embued with the power of Ruby.

The second instrument also uses the heart pattern with the following recipe: red gem on the top middle, pink gem on the top left, pink gem at the bottom and a pink top on the top right. This instrument is a voiceline of Ruby saying "さゅどーん！".

Loving Life with Hello Kitty & Friends

Ruby, alongside Garnet and Sapphie appear in several minigames including the Cashier and Juice Shop minigames, with Ruby appearing on the top screen during the Juice Shop minigame.

Ruby is playable in the let's fly on a broom minigame, with the player controlling her by moving to one of her three paths by touching one with the stylus.
