Sanrio Co., Ltd. is a Japanese company known for creating various characters including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin. Founded by Shintaro Tsuji on August 10th, 1960, the company has created over 400 characters along with tons of merchandise, anime, video games, manga and other media and has collaborated with many companies and brands. Since her creation in 1974, Hello Kitty has become a cultural icon and one of the biggest brands in the world and has remained so for over 50 years!

The SanrioWiki aims to create an extensive and comprehensive encyclopedia for all official material released by the company and its characters through its 65 year long history. Any help with creating pages and adding more information is greatly appreciated as there's a lot to Sanrio and Sanrio characters!

Strawberry News 700th Issue The June 2026 issue of the Strawberry News marks the 700th issue and releases on May 10th. This is the first milestone issue in over 8 years with issue 600 releasing in January 2018 Sanrio Party Land releases Fall 2026 The first game under the Sanrio Games brand has been announced with an expected release of Fall 2026. A second unannounced game will also release within the fiscal year. Sanrio Games brand announced A new in-house brand named "Sanrio Games" has been announced with plans to release 10 games in the next 3 years. Strawberry News Issue No. 699 released The May 2026 issue of the Strawberry News released on April 10th, 2026.
