Spunky Burro (スパンキーバロー, Supankībarō) is a kindhearted donkey who lives on a one-home farm near a forest of deep green. Spunky is very trusting of people, sometimes a little naive, but very patient. He is always with his friends and is very curious.
His friends are the mischievous prankster mouse Speedy, the farmer's cute kitten Cathy (spelling unofficial), the funny piglet Piki, the slightly tomboyish rabbit Robin, and the slightly shy mole Mogu.
He was one of the first Sanrio characters.
