Fukuchan (ふくちゃん) is a dog character from Sanrio. He is a St. Bernard who is the mascot of the drug store "Kusuri no Fukutaro", and Sanrio owns some of the rights if this character. Fukuchan has brown and white fur, a white curled tail, brown droopy ears, a white stripe down center of the head, brown oval eyes, a shiny brown oval nose, a white muzzle, and white paws with brown pads. Fukuchan wears a blue and white striped shirt.
Fukuchan was born in the Alps, on February 9! He's a big fan of soccer, and football (American-style), and his favorite phrase is "Smile every day!" He's really been into nail art lately.
Ranking in the Sanrio Character Ranking
In the 2013 Sanrio Character Ranking, if Fukuchan reaches top 10, Kusuri no Fukutaro stores will give limited edition gifts. He reached that rank.
