Hello Kitty Super Style! is a 3D animated series made by Italian studio Maga Animation Studio, Ltd. and co-produced by the Paris-based Watch Next Media and Monello Animation. The series premiered on Amazon Kids+ on December 7, 2022 in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Japan. 52 11-minute episodes were produced. This series was released to celebrate and commemorate Hello Kitty's 50th anniversary.

Description

In this fun and action-packed series, Hello Kitty stars as the friendliest face in Cherry Town—a small-town hero who will stop at nothing to help a friend in need and get them smiling. Whether she's helping someone overcome a fear, share with a friend, or find the confidence to try something new, Kitty uses sprinkles of kindness, oodles of heart, and a dose of bow power! Her bow wiggles, glitters, and glows when a friend is in need, activating an amazing transformation that changes her costume to be a brave explorer, a cunning detective, a top-notch chef, high-jumping athlete, sensational pop star, or any of a number of personas, to help her tackle the challenge ahead. The main gimmick of Hello Kitty Super Style! are the titular styles, consisting of 7 unique ones that Kitty can use to solve problems, granting her a set of abilities. Athlete Kitty

Athlete Kitty is the first style to be used. This style has a pink sweatband and wristbands with a matching bow, and a purple shirt with a lightning bolt on it. This style is used for Hello Kitty if she needs to do anything athletic, such as track, olympic events, or general running. In the episode On A Roll, roller-skates are used with this style. This style has been used 11 times, in the episodes On A Roll, A Good Sport, Game Night, Daredevil Rio, Super Badtz, Team Up Time, Tea for Trouble, Party On! , Let the Games Begin! , Pogo Problems, Three's a Crowd, and Goodbye Kitty.



Artist Kitty

Artist Kitty is the second style to be used. This style has a pink bow with paint splotches on it, and a matching shirt underneath her smock, also covered with paint with a matching pale beret. This style is used for Hello Kitty if she needs to do something artistic, like helping her friends with an art project. This style has been used 6 times, in the episodes Friendship Day, Pinky's Surprise, A Star Is Built, Game of One, The Frido Touch, and Goodbye Kitty. Out of all the styles, Artist Kitty is based off of an existing Hello Kitty outfit, as seen here.


Explorer Kitty

Explorer Kitty is the third style to be used. This style has a orange bow on a brown fedora, a matching vest with a pale polo shirt and matching brown pants and shoes. Kitty also comes with a rope with a pink heart on it that acts like a whip and can grab onto objects. This style is used for Hello Kitty if she needs to do something risky, such as exploring temples, traversing tough land or setting traps. This style has been used 7 times, in the episodes Treasure Hunters, The Charmed Bracelet, Too Many Fridos, King Badtz Rules, The Bowterfly Effect, Mayhem at the Museum, and Goodbye Kitty.


Construction Kitty

Construction Kitty is the fourth style to be used. This style has a classic red bow on top of a yellow construction helmet, and a matching plaid polo tee with a brown belt and some denim pants. This style is used for Hello Kitty if she needs to do something Construction related, such as helping the Beaver Triplets with building Cherry Town projects. This style has been used 7 times, in the episodes A Bridge Between Beavers, Blue Pinky, Green With Envy, Truth Be Told, Winner Bakes All, Frido Unleashed, and Goodbye Kitty.


Detective Kitty

Detective Kitty is the fifth style to be used. This style has a purple bow on top of a pink detective cap, with a matching detective cloak with a large collar, all in pink plaid. This style is used for Hello Kitty if she needs to do hunt down a mystery, such as finding a missing person using clues, or finding the culprit behind missing food. When in this style, she can sometimes be seen with a magnifying glass featuring a pink grip, white casing surrounding the glass, along with a purple bow on the right that matches Kitty's. This style has been used 11 times, in the episodes Disappearing Act, The Legend of Sweet Tooth, Tiny Frido, Big World, PI’s Thinking Cap, The Ghost of Cherry Town, Key to A Legend, Pet Problem, Plushie Life, The Case of the Mysterious Mystery, Goodbye Kitty, and Hello Haroshee.

Popstar Kitty is the sixth style to be used. This style has a blue bow with yellow stars with a matching skirt, a purple top with a light purple belt with a star on it, and a pink star on her left eye with matching shoes. This style is used for Hello Kitty if she needs to sing, such as singing live at a competition. When in this style, she can be seen with a microphone that has a darker and shinier version of the pink of her shoes and bow, an identical blue used on her bow and skirt as accents, and shiny gold butterfly wings on the sides. This style has been used 9 times, in the episodes Sing Out Loud, Blue Pinky, Hicc-up-staged, Cherry Town Cheer, DB's Big Show, My Fair Kitty, Battle of the Bands, Fanning Out, and Goodbye Kitty.

Chef Kitty

Chef Kitty is the seventh style to be used. This style has a classic red bow with a chef hat on top, complete with a matching red heart on the hat, and also red accents such as red pants and a red scarf and buttons on the chef coat with some brown shoes. This style is used for Hello Kitty if she needs to cook or bake. Such as making a cake for a cake competition or making smoothies to help the growing demand for them at Nori's Food Truck. In promotional art and in the episode a Berry Long Wait, a wooden spoon is used. In the episode The Secret Ingredient and Smoothie Moves, the spoon has little cat ears, but in other episodes and promotional art it is generic. This style has been used 7 times, in the episodes A Berry Long Wait, Front Page Frido, The Secret Ingredient, Blue Pinky, Smoothie Moves, Pizza Pals, and Goodbye Kitty.
